Wisconsin and Kansas City

Some random stuff from in-between. I debated whether or not to even post about these, because there was no theme or geographical relationship between them, but some are too much fun to leave out.
First, we spent a long weekend in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on our way south from the UP and had a lot of fun there! They had a several cute local events for us to enjoy, the downtown area we stayed in was right on the river, and there was even an aviation museum!
After Oshkosh, we backtracked for a Green Bay Packers game - seeing a game at their stadium was on Craig’s football bucket list, so we had to take advantage of being “nearby.”
Here’s my stadium review:
Fans: A+ (passionate with a friendly rivalry to other fans - not rude). Also, 98.57% were wearing team attire. A higher percentage than I’ve seen before.
Patriotism/National Anthem: A+ (there were red fireworks during “rockets red glare”!)
Seats: C+ (bleachers, I brought a cushion to sit on, which is encouraged, but they made me throw out the cover because it wasn’t a clear bag 🙄). The plus is because you have to get friendly with your fellow fans.
Stadium stairs: D- (they are too tall/no handrails and I don’t know how drunk people navigate them without falling down).
Tundra Temp: A (it stayed mostly in the sixties while we were there, but I understand from my new friends that it regularly freezes)
Last stop worth mentioning was a brief visit to Kansas City. We spent our short time there wandering around and enjoying the city. You can see that the locals really like to decorate their houses - both holiday themed and other. Consistent with the spookiest time of the year, a black cat came up to the back door of our airbnb like he just expected us to open it for him. Reminded me of the cat from the old Sabrina the Teenage Witch Show.
