Marvel Double Feature: New Cap’n and Kraven

Captain America: Brave New World:  

This one was….not good. And, did not really have any redeeming features.  If you insist on seeing it, it was definitely worth seeing on a big screen.  I did enjoy Harrison Ford asPresident and [oops can’t say, spoiler 😎].  

Some additional thoughts:  (1) I am not a Captain America fan - too goody goody for me (I enjoy anti-hero’s like Iron Man much better), but at least the original Cap’n has a very interesting back story, (2) The Falcon and the Soldier series wasn’t great and this movie built on it a bunch so that didn’t help, and (3) the movie was kinda boring (as one reviewer noted, it gave you too much time during the movie to think about how boring it was 😱).

Kraven the Hunter:  

An unfortunate name, but overall a much better movie.  Pulls you in from the very beginning, has some really good fight scenes and Russel Crowe with an interesting part for him. I’m not familiar at all with this cannon, but looking forward to seeing another Kraven movie.
